Find the perfect match at Wine-o-logy and be a part of the 8th annual Birmingham Restaurant Week! Sample wines from Alabama Crown and The Wine Group, enjoy complimentary appetizers, and live music at The Wine Loft, Birmingham’s top wine bar.

Guests will sample a flight of 5 wines served with a perfect food pairing. After the tasting, each guest will receive a complimentary glass of their favorite wine from the offering. The featured wines will also be available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

There is limited street parking at The Wine Loft. We encourage alternate forms of transportation such as cabs, UBER, biking, or walking.

Food and Wine Menu

 

Caprese Skewers – Grape tomatoes, mozzarella pearls & basil leaves on a skewer with a balsamic glaze and a sprinkling of salt and pepper.  Paired with Chloe Pinot Grigio

Shrimp Creole & Goat Cheese Grits – All of the things that make a Creole great on a bed of McEwen grits made with goat cheese. Paired with Chloe Prosecco

Bruschetta – Tomatoes, onions and garlic sautéed and roosted on toasted baguette then topped with pancetta and manchego cheese and garnished with basil chiffonade.  Paired with Piccini Poggio Alto

BLT Slider – Double smoked thick cut bacon, heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, and mayonnaise on a Millie Ray’s yeast roll.  Paired with Imagery Pinot Noir

Tomato Pie – Tomato jam served in a mini pie shell topped with goat cheese crumbles and roasted corn and sprinkled with brown sugar. Paired with Imagery Cabernet Sauvignon
